Very Unusual Badge À warthog head``do you know what it is?

I have a very unusual looking badge of a ``WartHog Head`` It is marked 5 and then latin I presume ``Ne Obliviscaris`` I think it means ``Forget Not``
anyone know anything about it. Please e-mail me for a picture. It is worth looking at !

That sounds like a 5th Battalion Royal Scots of Canada badge. (Glengarry Badge). They are not all that common!

They became Known as the Black Watch

James is correct, right on the money. The were the prelude to the now famous Black Watch Regiment. Very uncommon nice badge

Is it possible to see the reverse? I can probably date it for you.

I have several varieties of this badge. Just bought a scarce version on ebay...$100 USD which is about what these go for. Depending on the variation. There are some rare versions of this badge but this is a later production item.
